City and Guilds International Vocational Qualifications (IVQ) in 
Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy


Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy is one of the most vibrant and fastest growing employment sectors in the world. City and Guilds International Vocational Qualifications (IVQs) in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy prepare individuals with the skills and knowledge to work in these environments and help provide employers with a highly skilled work force.

Developed by HABIA (Hair and Beauty Industry Authority) and City and Guilds, each award introduces candidates to the industry, and provides a solid grounding of the skills required. Candidates are exposed to the latest technique and styles, and will receive an internationally recognized qualification that will assist employment anywhere in the world.

Offered at three levels, each award scheme offers a recognized progression route for those looking to advance their career and increase their knowledge set. They also offer a flexible route through the award, allowing the candidate to study the skills they require, and for employers to receive the skills they need.

The structure of the qualification:

Certificate

Certificate level is aimed at those entering the Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy industry. It provides a broad introduction to the theory and practical sides of the industries, and is ideal for somebody who is starting to work in a salon or beauty clinic.


Diploma

The diploma is aimed at those candidates who already work or want to work, but wish to extend their career and upgrade their skills. It is ideal for those who wish to solidify their existing skills and move into a supervisory role.


Advanced Diploma

The Advanced Diploma is the highest level offered and allows candidates to obtain specialist knowledge in either the field of Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy. In addition to practical skills in either field, the award also contains information for those who want to pursue a career in management, or other team leader roles.

Admissions are subject to availability for the above mentioned courses. 
"The City and Guilds Of London Institute" examination for the year 2008 is scheduled for the month of December. 
Registrations / Admissions for December 2008 and June 2007 sessions are open.

For Admissions the student has to provide and abide by:

2 passport size photographs. If they are below 18 years of age then they have to furnish details and signatures of their employer, parents or guardian.

All fees have to be paid prior to the commencement of the course or as mentioned in the fees schedule.

Course fees is neither refundable nor transferable.

Course fees shall be accepted in Indian Rupees only.

Cheques, Pay Orders or Demand Drafts have to be made out in Indian Rupees favoring "Eves Beauty Parlour and Academy" payable at New Delhi only.

Absenteeism, late arrival, rude behavior with the faculty members or fellow students shall lead to expulsion or suspensions.

Smoking and Drinking is strictly prohibited within the Academy premises.

Paying Guest, independent twin-sharing and single occupancy accommodations near the academy including and / or excluding of boarding and lodging available on request. 
Prices vary between Rs.4500/- to Rs.5500/- per month.
