Tourism Minister of India Renuka Chowdhury announced the Tourism Initiatives for the year 2005 / 2008. 
It has been named - Atithi Devo Bhavah which means "The honoured Guest is God". Under this initiative taxi drivers, tourist guides, tourist police and immigration officials will be trained. The Minister had an interactive session with tour operators where she made them pledge that "Guests will be treated as honored guests". 
The minister also said: "Tourism was considered a luxury only for the well to do. We should look at it as an instrument to solve poverty. We all have a role to play. It is a huge ambition but what the hell, we can do it".

Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to the big screen despite saying she would put her career on hold to care for her new baby, Apple.

She had said she might never work again and become a full-time mother after giving birth in May. But, it has been announced that she is to start work in March on a film called "Running With Scissors".

Paltrow, 32, who lives in London ( the city of City and Guilds ) with her husband, Coldplay star Chris Martin, will shoot the movie in Los Angeles.

COSMOBEAUTE Asia 2005 - Asia’s most comprehensive international cosmetics, beauty and hair care trade exhibition, is to be held in Malaysia for the first time from July 8th to 11th 2005. 

The four-day event, to be held at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, is organised by Exhibition and Conventions Management International (ECMI) Services Sdn Bhd.

ECMI Services project director C.P. Saw said the exhibition was aimed at trade buyers comprising beauticians, doctors, salon owners, spa operators and entrepreneurs in the beauty business. 

“It is not open to the public,” Saw said after the launch of the CosmoBeaute Asia 2005 by Malaysian Medical Practice Division Director Dr Mohd Khairi Yakob, representing Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad. 

Among the sponsors of the event are the Health Ministry, Malaysian Franchise Association, Association of Malaysia Spa and Malaysia Asian Hair & Beauty Association.

Jennifer Aniston has moved in with close friend, hairdresser - celebrity hair-stylist Chris McMillan. He was the first person she turned to for advice and comfort after the tragic break-up with Brad Pitt.

Britain's The Sun newspaper quoted a source saying: 'She went straight to Chris' house when she got back to LA. She couldn't face going back to the Hollywood mansion she shared with Brad. She found the idea too upsetting. Chris has been a great shoulder to cry on for her over the years and he's there for her now. They first met on the set of Friends ten years ago and have been best pals ever since.' 

Chris was the man responsible for Rachel Green (Anniston's role) hairstyles on Friends.

Brad Pitt - Jennifer Aniston - Split

Hollywood glamour couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have split, his publicist confirmed Friday. "We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate," the couple said in a statement.

"For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any speculation reported by the tabloid media," the actors said.

The couple didn't indicate if they plan to divorce, and publicist Cindy Guagenti declined to comment beyond the statement, which also said, "We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another."

The separation, first reported on People magazine's Web site, comes 4 1/2 years after the pair's wedding and after months of speculation that their marriage was in trouble.

There was no word on whether they plan to divorce.

Pitt, 41, and Aniston, 35, married in a lavish oceanside ceremony in July 2000 after meeting in 1998.

Aniston became one of America's most recognizable stars for her role in the television sitcom "Friends" which finally went off air in 2004 after a ten-year run. She has several movie projects in the works.

Her blond hunk husband, a veteran star of the big screen, recently appeared in "Ocean's 12" and "Troy."

The couple, long rumored to be hoping for a baby, had recently been on the rocks, according to the gossip magazines, which linked Pitt to Angelina Jolie, his co-star in an upcoming thriller called "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."

Aniston was later photographed in public without her wedding ring, People said.

The couple spent New Year's together in the Caribbean, according to People.
